Filling a need is what our church is about, whether it is a concert series for a music-starved community, a caring preschool, hands to work at a shelter, a team to support cystic fibrosis in a stair climb, or knitters who make hats for infants.  We are always looking for new ways to use our talents for the service of God.

We support many local initiatives to help those in need. We routinely provide dinners for Bread of Life Rescue Mission.  We host the Interfaith Shelter every year and our chapter of the United Methodist Women raises thousands of dollars to support local charities such as the Community Resource Center. Nationally, our mission teams have worked at disaster sites. Our teens spend a week each summer at a Sierra Service Project work site repairing houses for needy Native American or urban families.  Our worldwide missions include support for UMCOR, Heifer International, and Nothing But Nets. Our congregation helps support missionaries in eight countries.
