Rev. Mark Feldmeir is in his sixth year as Senior Minister at San Dieguito UMC. He previously served twelve years as Pastor at Santa Margarita UMC, a new and innovative congregation in South Orange County, CA.

Mark has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty at Claremont School of Theology since 2004, where he teaches homiletics. The author of two books – Testimony to the Exiles: Sermons for GenXers and Other Postmoderns (Chalice Press, 2003), and Stirred Not Shaken: Themes for an Emerging Generation (Chalice Press, 2005) – Mark has lectured and keynoted at various conferences throughout the country on topics ranging from preaching, generational theory, evangelism, and pop culture.

Mark received his B.A. in Religious Studies from the University of California, Riverside (1990), and his M.Div. from Claremont School of Theology (1993).

In his free time, Mark enjoys cycling, hiking, and playing amateur baseball. He has been married to his wife, Lori, for twenty-two years, and has three children, Alyson, Casey, and Matthew.
