UMYF: United Methodist Youth Fellowship. Join us in the Youth Room for games, snacks, announcements, refreshments, program, singing, and a time to share your joys and concerns. All incoming 7th grade-2010 Graduates are welcome to attend.
“DAB” Day at the Beach: District Beach Days include all of our San Diego District Churches joining together on the lawn north of the parking lot at La Jolla Shores. We enjoy the beauty of the beach, fellowship with district friends, beach volleyball, card games, surfing, swimming, and lots of fun! If you would like to sign up for a “DAB” call or email Rebecca to sign up by the Monday before the event.
Breakfast in the Youth Room: Take a break from video games, tv, or simply doing nothing and come and eat breakfast and hang out with your youth group friends in the Youth Room. If you would like to attend a scheduled breakfast call or email Rebecca to sign up by the Monday before the event.

District Summer Camp registration has begun. There are camps for students entering first grade through 2010 graduates. If you have questions about what camp is and if you should send your child or not please come to the lounge in between services to hear more about camp and ask questions with Rebecca Hensley, Youth Director.

Camp sessions are divided by grade level:
- Early Elementary: Entering 1st – 3rd grade in the fall
Camp Duration: (Sunday – Wednesday), July 25 -28 - Older Elementary: Entering 4th – 6th grade in the fall
Camp Duration: (Sunday – Saturday), July 25 -31 - Junior High: Entering 7th – 9th Grade in the fall
Camp Duration: (Sunday – Saturday), July 18 -24 - Senior High: Entering 10th – Graduated Seniors
Camp Duration: (Sunday – Saturday), July 11 – 17
Join us on April 11th for a District Camping Rubio’s Fundraiser. Bring your flier to the Encinitas Rubio’s and twenty percent will help go to the San Diego District Camp Scholarship Fund. This helps us make camps affordable so each child and youth has the opportunity to experience camp.
Join us for winter retreat at Mountain High Resort and Camp Wrightwood February 26 -28. All paperwork and payment is due February 21st. For more information contact Rebecca at Rebecca@encinitaschurch.com.

Sunday, November 22 UMYF
Escondido UMC Youth Group has invited us to participate in a Mall Scavenger Hunt followed by Youth Group at their church. We will need to meet at our church at 3:30 to be at the Mall for an hour and a half scavenger hunt. We will then return to Escondido Church for Youth Group until 7. We will return to our church for pick up by 7:30pm.
Please RSVP for this event by Thursday, November 19 so we can arrange rides! Parents, if you would like to help with this event please let me know! We can use extra rides and supervision!
