Welcome to San Dieguito United Methodist

A family friendly Church!

Easter is about new beginnings and the promise of resurrection.
This Easter make a new beginning by joining us for our 9:00 am or 10:30 am Easter Service.

At San Dieguito United Methodist Church you will find friendly people, an encouraging message, uplifting music by our adult choir and youth bell choir and an extraordinary butterfly release for everyone in the family. Like you, we care about building relationships, raising strong families and making a difference in our community.

Our service is family friendly and children are encouraged to come to the service. We have a children’s moment especially geared for children ages Pre K – 3rd grade near the beginning of the service and following this moment the children are invited to Sunday School to participate in special children’s activities or to rejoin their families for the remainder of the service.

Our Nursery is adjacent to the cry room in the sanctuary and is available for infants to Pre K. The nursery is staffed by church members who have also completed background checks. Nursery care is attentive and nurturing so attend worship knowing that your child is in good hands.

Visitors Welcome

Easter Butterfly Release

Join us for a unique memorable Easter experience following both the 9:00 am and 10:30 am services.  The butterfly is one of the Christian church’s earliest symbols of Christ’s resurrection.  This Easter you will have the chance to hold in your hands a tiny box.  When you open it, you will witness a beautiful, Painted Lady Butterfly experience its very first flight. Imagine hundreds of butterflies, released at the same time, fresh from their cocoons, caught up in their new life.

 He Is Risen Indeed!

If you are a visitor to our church, stop by our visitor’s table to receive a free butterfly as our gift to you.

Painted Lady Butterflies are indigenous to our environment.
