To make a donation today, please make your check to SDUMC and designate it for Haiti Emergency, UMCOR Advance # 418325. 100% of gifts to UMCOR through the Advance support the designated project.

If you are looking for a way to involve your children in providing relief for the people of Haiti following the earthquake, consider assembling UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) Health Kits.

On Sunday, January 17, we received 30, complete health kits, that have been shipped to UMCOR. We have an additional 20 kits that need full-size combs and fingernail clippers before they can be sent. We will continue to collect assembled kits, supplies and donations to help with toothpaste & shipping costs until we have sent 100 kits to UMCOR.

Your family can bring fully assembled kits or just some of the requested items. Click Health Kit for Haiti for a list of items needed.
