CARE (Congregational Assistance Resources Encouragement) The CARE Team is one way that we, as a congregation, minister to each other in a very real, meaningful way. Our trained volunteers provide assistance, resources, and encouragement to church members in time of physical or emotional need. This ministry enriches everyone involved and deepens our understanding of God’s message of love and caring for each other.
The CARE Ministry consists of several smaller teams:
| Prayers | Respite for Caregivers | Note Writing | Assistance with Referrals | Flower Delivery |
| Meals | Phone Calls: Caring Callers | Visits: Hospital, Home | Transportation | Communion for the Homebound |
| Support Groups | Short Term Assistance |
For Assistance or Information: Please call the church office: 760.753.6582 or Email at admin@sdumc.org or contact Lynne Calkins: 760.632.8029; LC1NP@cox.net
