United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)

The United Methodist Youth Ministry nurtures life-long Christians to serve God and neighbor in all we say and do.

Our teens ages 7th through 12th grade meet Sundays from 6:15 – 8:15 p.m for fun and fellowship.  This program helps our youth learn how to live as faithful Christians and support each other through the teen years.  We strive to create a safe space in which all are welcome to come explore, create deep relationships and to learn more about themselves.

Letter from the Youth Director

Dear Youth,

Welcome to United Methodist Youth Fellowship!  The years that you spend in youth group are a special time in your life.  As a youth, I found youth group to be a constant support.  The environment was so distinct from that of school or other activities.  It was a group that loved me unconditionally and encouraged me to truly take time for God’s work in my life.

You will be presented opportunities to grow in your faith through education, fellowship and service.  Weekly UMYF meetings consist of announcements, singing, activities and programs.  You will be introduced to local speakers that are living the Word in their daily lives. We will also be participating in different service projects: tending to the poor, supporting the weak, and giving what we can to others.  With all of these opportunities and more we will be creating life long friendships, memories, and a better understanding of living God’s Word.
