Harvest Home

HARVEST HOME is SDUMC’s tradition of sharing our bounty with those less fortunate. Please contribute to the display in the narthex with non-perishable food and health products. We hope to collect enough food to fill MANY holiday baskets for the Community Resource Center. This year, the need is GREATER than ever before. Examples of items we can use include canned foods, boxes of food, bags of rice, beans, and pasta, cans of meat products, soups, 5 pound bags of sugar, flour or potatoes, boxes of cake or muffin mix, dry milk, Jello-O, pudding mix, and personal health and hygiene items. Anything that could be used to help a needy family will be appreciated. If you wish, you may donate cash which enables the CRC to purchase items at a discount. Make checks out to SDUMC with Harvest Home on the memo line and put in the offering plate. Store script cards are also useful. Collection of items will begin on Sunday, November 3rd and continue until November 24th.
