Wander & Ponder

Step into a reflective spiritual practice that invites you to connect with God through nature. 

This month we’ll welcome the fall season by exploring Alga Norte Community Park in Carlsbad. We’ll begin in front of the Aquatic Center in the center of the park.

This lovely park is full of grass, trees, a playground, and even a dog and skate park. As always, we’ll begin our time together with poetry, grounding exercises, and then participants are encouraged to wander quietly to reflect: “What might the changing seasons, falling leaves, children and dogs have to teach us about God and life?” Afterwards, we will conclude as a group to share insights about what we learned.
