This month’s movie is: A Monster Calls

The movie  is part story, part fairy tale and part parable. Conor is a young boy
trying to cope: with his mother’s impending death, bullies at school and his own feelings about
all that’s happening in and around him. A monster (a talking yew tree voiced by Liam Neeson)
takes him on a journey of truth, healing and hope.

The movie stars Lewis MacDougall, Sigourney Weaver and Felicity Jones. It’s rated PG-
13 and is 1hr and 48 minutes in length.

The movie is FREE. Refreshments are available for a suggested donation of $3.00 per
person. Rev. Faith and Shannon will lead a discussion following the viewing. All are welcome.
