“Wandering and Pondering Hiking Group”
Location: Powerhouse Park & Beach, Del Mar
We’ll gather on the grass across from the Post Office. Free parking is available in the Coast Highway garage at Il Fornaio Italian restaurant.
Beloved Poet Mary Oliver offers three instructions for living:
1) Pay Attention
2) Be Astonished
3) Talk About It
Together, we’ll practice these rhythms by tuning into our senses, noticing God through the beauty of nature, and sharing what moves our hearts. As we gently ask, “How might God be speaking to us through nature?” we may find ourselves astonished—discovering how creation can speak truth and revive our spirits.
