My Post (4)

Dear SDUMC Family,

We begin our Holy Week journey on Palm Sunday (this Sunday) and leading up to Easter Sunday, April 4th (I had the great joy of sharing the Palm Sunday story with the SDUMC Preschool children – pictured above). I know that this Holy Week will still be different for all of us. But I believe that this will be a very meaningful and important week for all of us. The SDUMC team is working diligently to share the Holy Week story in various ways and we hope these opportunities will give you some fresh understandings for your own faith journey. As we continue to keep things safe, we hope you will participate in some of our Outdoor or Online Holy Week services, prayers, and experiences. Join us and open your heart to God speaking to you in new and fresh ways this year. The story of Christ's journey, his suffering, death, and resurrection is our story. Again, I pray you will join me in the journey and the discovery in the days to come! I hope to see you at a family-friendly outside worship hour at 9:30 a.m. (the service will also be Livestreamed). We have a number of special elements happening in worship this Sunday – invite a friend!

Grace, Peace, and Prayers for You and for our World,
John
